Released – Workplace Rehabilitation Providers and Principles and Standards

WorkCover WA is pleased to announce the release of the Workplace Rehabilitation Providers Principles and Standards of Practice (Principles and Standards) which come into effect today. The new Principles and Standards can be found here.

The Principles and Standards are the result of a successful collaboration between WorkCover WA and the following key stakeholders:

  • workplace rehabilitation providers
  • insurers
  • self-insurers
  • medical practitioners
  • brokers; and
  • unions

The new Principles and Standards set out WorkCover WA’s priorities and expectations for delivering workplace rehabilitation services and are designed to make a significant impact to workers returning to work following a workplace injury.
