Proposed Act Amendments – Consultation Paper February 2026

WorkCover WA is consulting stakeholders on proposed amendments to the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023 with a focus on addressing implementation issues that have arisen since 1 July 2024.

As a basis for consultation WorkCover WA has released a consultation paper on proposed Act amendments WorkCover WA has identified as part of stakeholder interactions and implementation monitoring.

WorkCover WA invites written submissions by 10 April 2026 which may be provided by email to:

The scope of any proposed Act amendments is limited to required technical amendments to address implementation issues since 1 July 2024 and is not intended to include entitlement reform or scheme redesign.
