WorkCover WA wins Best Annual Report

WorkCover WA has once again been recognised for excellence in accountability in annual reporting by winning two awards at the 29th Annual W.S. Lonnie Awards.

This year WorkCover WA took out the Allan Skinner Trophy which is awarded to the best annual report in the general Government sector.  WorkCover WA also took out the Gold Award for agencies with 100 to 1000 full time equivalent employees.  The Gold Award is presented to annual reports that exceed requirements and are considered model reports.

Acting Chief Executive Officer Chris White congratulated all WorkCover WA staff who contributed to the 2012-13 annual report.  “The report was a high quality document that effectively demonstrated the success of our agency in meeting the needs of injured workers and employers,” he said.

All state Government agencies are eligible and automatically considered as part of the judging process for the W.S Lonnie Awards. WorkCover WA has won a Lonnie Award for our annual report in each of the last five years.
