Event description:

Presented by IFAP, an independent, not-for-profit organisation, the Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Short Course, aims to provide employers with a general understanding of the system in Western Australia. The course will explain how the system works, and it will provide participants with an understanding of their rights and obligations as an employer.

The seminar will cover:

  • employers' primary obligations including insurance, claims and injury management
  • return to work Programs 
  • the dispute resplution system
  • impairment assessments
  • settlements.

This course is designed for employers who wish to understand and meet their workers' compensation legal obligations. It is also excellent for supervisors and line managers who play an integral role in Return to Work Programs.
