Are you unsure about WorkCover WA's role in the workers' compensation and injury management scheme?

WorkCover WA runs quarterly information session to introduce external stakeholders to the Agency.

The two hour session introduces participants to the functions of WorkCover WA, our divisions and our people and is ideal for anyone who wants a better understanding of the role of WorkCover WA. The session covers functions including:

Scheme Development who provide policy advice and monitor scheme performance

Standards and Monitoring who approve and monitor service providers, such as insurers, self-insurers, approved medical specialists and approved vocational rehabilitation providers

Compliance Services who enforce the legislative obligations of employers

Scheme Information Services who record claim and policy data

Education and Information Services who develop and publish information resources and conduct information seminars to raise awareness of workers’ compensation and injury management

Advisory Services who provide information and assistance to all parties via telephone, email and counter service

Customer Assistance Unit who provide guidance to all parties in relation to claim issues, assistance with resolving issues and assistance in completing applications to the Dispute Resolution Directorate

Dispute Resolution Directorate which provides an independent dispute resolution service

Audience:
Any stakeholder that has a role in the workers' compensation and injury management scheme and would like to know more about WorkCover WA.
