Title:
Stakeholder engagement a priority in the development of new products

Content:

Stakeholder engagement has been an area of focus for WorkCover WA over the past few years and continued efforts have been made towards building effective working relationships with its stakeholders. WorkCover WA has established four reference groups as part of representing four target audiences to provide input and advice to WorkCover WA on the development and review of a range of new and existing resources, as part of the implementation of more formalised stakeholder engagement practices and policies.

The four reference groups represent four target audiences:

  • Workers’ Interests
  • Employers
  • Medical Practitioners
  • Scheme Participants.

Representatives on the reference groups were screened and selected from WorkCover WA’s stakeholder database using formal selection criteria to ensure diversity and representativeness amongst members.

The first meeting of the reference groups are scheduled to be held over the coming weeks and outcomes from the reference groups will be communicated on the WorkCover WA website via the Reference Groups for information resources web page.
