Revised medical and allied health fees

Amendments to the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management (Scales of Fees) Regulations 1998 were published in a Special Government Gazette on Friday, 7 December 2007. The revised fees for medical and allied health treatment services took effect from Saturday, 8 December 2007 and bring about a 4.23 per cent increase to the fees in accordance with the composite index.

Copies of the Special Gazette are available from State Law Publisher at 10 William Street, PERTH WA 6000 (phone: 9321 7688) or from the State Law Publisher website at www.slp.wa.gov.au.

A compilation of all medical and allied health fees is available on the WorkCover WA website at www.workcover.wa.gov.au by clicking on the drop-down menu for “Publications & Forms”, selecting “Rates, fees and payments” and then choosing either “Allied health provider fees” or “Medical fees”, whichever is appropriate.

Please direct any queries regarding the revised medical and allied health fees to Eva Harte, Research Officer, by phone on 9388 5578 or via email at eva.harte@workcover.wa.gov.au.
