Each financial year the entitlements available to injured workers within the Western Australian workers' compensation scheme are indexed pursuant to section 5 of the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981 .

The "Variations in Prescribed Amount and Other Workers' Compensation Payments" for the forthcoming 2009/10 financial year was approved by the WorkCover WA A/Chief Executive Officer on 1 June 2009. Please note these indexed amounts will apply from 1 July 2009.
