On Thursday 3 March, Commerce Minister Simon O’Brien announced the appointment of Karin Lee to a three-year appointment to the board of WorkCover WA.

Ms Lee is experienced in employer’s interests and has extensive knowledge of the workers’ compensation system. Since 2005, she has been employed at the WA Chamber of Commerce and Industry as the Senior Adviser Health, OSH and Workers’ Compensation. Before this, Ms Lee worked as a Workers’ Compensation case coordinator for Allianz Australia and a statutory claims and rehabilitation case manager for WorkCover Queensland. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from James Cook University of North Queensland and a Graduate Certificate in Case Management (Rehabilitation).

“I welcome Ms Lee to the WorkCover WA Board and look forward to her contribution,” Mr O’Brien said.

“I also acknowledge the contribution made by Lisa Biglin who has concluded her appointment to the WorkCover WA Board after five years of service.”
