WorkCover WA has developed new Service Provision and Service Descriptions (standards) for Approved Rehabilitation Workplace Providers.

Tim Roach, General Manager of Regulatory Services said the aim of the new service delivery standards is to promote clarity and consistency for workplace rehabilitation providers (WRP) and raise service-level expectations.

“These standards will also form the basis for WRP review, as well as performance monitoring by WorkCover WA and will underpin the service provision principles in the Nationally Consistent Approval Framework for rehabilitation providers,” Mr Roach said.

WorkCover WA developed the new standards through broad consultation with the Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (APRA), all approved WRPs as well as other stakeholders.
