Two new publications have been developed to support injured workers at different stages of their claim. The Receiving Workers’ Compensation Entitlements and Information on finalising your claim brochures have been published as part of a WorkCover WA initiative to develop information resources targeted to the needs of stakeholders.

“The new publications contribute to the suite of information resources available to injured workers and will assist in providing additional support to injured workers throughout the claims process”, says Sarah Emmerson, Information Officer for the Education and Information Branch.

The Receiving Workers’ Compensation Entitlements brochure provides information about the range of entitlements available under workers’ compensation, as well as information regarding the rights and responsibilities of workers and employers.

The Information on finalising your claim brochure explains the different settlement options, who is eligible for settlements and how workers can access these options.

The publications were developed in consultation with stakeholders.
