Title:
Improvements to our website

Content:

We’ve been working hard to improve how we provide you with workers’ compensation information on our website. These changes do not represent any additional obligations or requirements under the workers’ compensation system. We hope you’ll find the website clearer and easier to understand.

What's changed?

  • Workers will find we've better outlined the steps in the claims process, collated information about receiving workers' compensation, and added detail to most pages.
  • For Employers, we've collated the information around the broad definition of workers, how to take out a workers' compensation insurance policy, and the costs of non-compliance with the Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981.
  • For Health Providers and Service Providers, we've made improvements in formatting for consistency and readability, and several additions to content for clarity.
  • We've added extra detail on Dispute Resolution to help those involved understand the process.
  • We've made significant improvements to the Returning to Work area, consolidating information for workers, employers, and medical practitioners to help them understand their roles in the return to work process.
