IFAP, on behalf of WorkCover WA, is conducting a free seminar for injured workers in the Kalgoorlie region on Tuesday 10 May.

The seminar will give injured workers an overview about how the workers' compensation system works, with topics including:

• entitlements
• claim obligations and the rights of all parties
• dispute resolution
• impairment assessment
• settlements
• injury management and returning to work, and
• sources of assistance

Feedback from injured workers who have attended previous seminars shows that they are very helpful in increasing understanding of the workers’ compensation system.
