IFAP, an independent, not-for-profit organisation, is conducting a free seminar for injured workers on behalf of WorkCover WA, in Bunbury on Tuesday, 7 June 2010.

The seminar will give injured workers an overview about how the workers' compensation system works, with topics including:

• entitlements
• claim obligations and the rights of all parties
• dispute resolution
• impairment assessment
• settlements
• injury management and returning to work, and
• sources of assistance.

Feedback from injured workers, who have attended previous seminars, shows that they are very helpful in increasing understanding of the workers’ compensation system.
