How can WorkCover WA assist you?

WorkCover WA is the government agency responsible for overseeing the workers' compensation and injury management system in WA and can provide a range of services to help you understand your rights and responsibilities in relation to workers' compensation and injury management.

There are three key areas where WorkCover WA can assist you:

Publications and resources

WorkCover WA has a variety of free publications and resources and a website packed full of information for employers. Publications can be downloaded through the website or ordered through calling the Advisory Services information line on 1300 794 744.

Presentations and training sessions

WorkCover WA is able to deliver tailored presentations to stakeholders about workers' compensation and injury management. If you are interested in finding out more about how WorkCover WA can present to you or your business, email the Education and Information Branch for further information.

The Calendar of Events found on the website presents a range of workers' compensation and injury management events both organised by WorkCover WA and external agencies and organisations. These are frequently updated so it is recommended you visit the calendar regularly to keep an eye out for training opportunities.

ThinkSafe Small Business Assistance Program

WorkCover WA works together with WorkSafe WA a division of the Department of Commerce, to provide free, independent and confidential occupational safety and health and workers' compensation advice and training for small businesses through the ThinkSafe Small Business Assistance Program.

Since the program began it has helped inform over 2500 small businesses about occupational safety and health and workers' compensation through the confidential consultation service. Click through to the website to see if your business is eligible for the free service.
