WorkCover WA has achieved one of the highest accolades in the WA Public Sector, winning the prestigious WA Lonnie Memorial Trophy for the best government annual report.

The award was presented by the Governor of WA, Dr Ken Michael, at a ceremony in Perth on 17 June. The achievement means that the WorkCover WA annual report is the best of 129 reports produced by government agencies in WA for 2007-08.

The organisation also won the Allan Skinner Trophy.

Acting CEO Michelle Reynolds said the organisation was committed to clear and accountable reporting to its stakeholders and members of the public.
