Workers Compensation and Injury Management for WRP

Delivered by IFAP, an independent, not-for-profit organisation, the Workers' Compensation and Injury Management for Workplace Rehabilitation Providers (WRP) aims to introduce the law of workers' compensation and injury management to WRP.

On completion of this course, participants should:

• understand the role of WorkCover WA
• understand and apply the principles from relevant section of the Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981
• understand the legislation pertinent to the role of a WRP
• understand the main steps in the dispute resolution process.

Participants will be introduced to critical legal and injury management principles. This knowledge will then be applied to challenging case studies that require application of the principles.
