Title:
Annual indexation of medical and allied health fees

Content:

The Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management (Scales of Fees) Amendment Regulations 2008 (the Amendment Regulations) will be published in a Special Government Gazette on Wednesday, 17 December 2008.

The Amendment Regulations revise fees for medical and allied health services and will bring about a 4.78 per cent increase to fees. The increase is derived through the application of the medical and allied health fees composite index, which is utilised by WorkCover WA for annual indexation purposes. The revised fees will take effect from Thursday, 18 December 2008

Copies of the Special Government Gazette will be available from the State Law Publisher at 10 William Street, PERTH WA 6000 (phone: 9321 7688) or from the State Law Publisher website at www.slp.wa.gov.au.

A compilation of all medical and allied health fees will be available on the WorkCover WA website on the day of publication by clicking here.

Please direct any queries regarding the revised medical and allied health fees to Eva Harte, Policy Officer, by phone on 9388 5578 or via email at eva.harte@workcover.wa.gov.au.
