Reference groups for information resources

WorkCover WA is committed to working closely with its stakeholders and continued efforts have been made towards building effective working relationships.

To facilitate implementation of more formalised stakeholder engagement practices and processes, WorkCover WA has established four reference groups representing four target audiences to provide input and advice to WorkCover WA on the development and review of a range of new and existing resources.

The purpose of each reference group is to provide advice, in their areas of expertise, to WorkCover WA on the development and review of new and existing resources aimed at informing workers, employers, medical practitioners and other scheme participants about best practices in workers’ compensation and injury management.

The four reference groups represent four target audiences:

  • Workers’ Interests
  • Employers
  • Medical Practitioners
  • Scheme Participants.

The reference groups terms have been extended for a further 12-month period from August 2009.

For further information regarding the reference groups, please contact the Education and Information Branch on educationandinformation@workcover.wa.gov.au or 08 9388 5555.
